WRITE THE MOVIE OF YOUR LIFE
Life is a movie and you are in the lead role.
But you have to write this movie properly.
You know, they say “if I write my life, it will be a movie”.
It’s true. But you have to learn how to write.
In every sense
While you think you are in your own movie, you can fall into supporting roles in someone else’s story. In a story that starts out like a hero, he can unwittingly turn into a dull extra. Worst of all, he can be trapped in a boring movie that no one is watching.
For a good screenwriter, it doesn’t matter if the story is interesting or not. The vital factor is whether the script is well written. It is essential that it is designed with finesse and knowledge, and that its mathematics is good. This is what we will learn in this study.
We do two things together;
First, we learn what a professional screenwriter should know. These are also things any creative writer should learn. Formation of heroes, conflicts, emotional analysis, photographic narration, story planning, image equivalents of actions, rhythm, balance, timing.
Armed with the technical know-how, we try to write small scenes and create a medium scale or even feature film script. At this stage, we begin to examine the subjects we know best, namely our own lives. However, without getting too personal. Without breaking, without spilling. When we look at our lives and parts of our lives from the point of view of a filmmaker or a screenwriter, we can easily see what is missing. For example, what needs to be done for the story to be interesting – we can see this. We reveal the conflicts that the hero is in. We see whether these conflicts will be resolved in an inspiring way, and what kind of price will be paid for which decisions. In particular, we can analyze which archetypes or lower selves are directed by the side characters. We discuss how the story we are trying to write/construct can become valuable to others. We do all this by resorting to the methods used by a cool and competent group of screenwriters to turn an idea or story into a good screenplay.
We learn how to write a movie and how to be a full-fledged hero in a good movie.
The gong rang. Take your place before the lights go out. The movie is starting 🎉
